Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
With Moon in Taurus from this evening until early Sunday morning, the stars are on the plus side. There are no significant challenging aspects, and the Sun and Moon are harmonious in the steady and productive earth signs, Virgo and Taurus. In fact, after one challenging lunar aspect early Friday morning, there is a streak of eight + lunar aspects which is unusual.
All this brings plenty of opportunities for right timing, especially for practical matters and decisions if your horoscope is also in a harmonious phase.
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, moving to 23 and 24 degrees of Libra offers benefits for anyone born around the fourteenth and fifteenth of any month especially October, and for anyone with planets and points around 23 and 24 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, after turning direct on Monday, sits at 28.5 degrees of Capricorn which can bring stress and conflicts for anyone born around the last days of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn and for anyone with planets or points around the last degrees of the same signs.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, is moving from 16 to 17 degrees of Scorpio which brings opportunities for anyone born around the eighth of any month and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 17 degrees.
Pluto, the planet of transformation and new beginnings, moving in retrograde from 19 to 18 degrees of Capricorn is likely producing significant changes for anyone born around the ninth of January, April, July, and October and for anyone with planets or points around 18 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn. This position of Pluto is also creating unique opportunities for the earth signs (Taurus Virgo Capricorn) born around the ninth of the month and for anyone with planets or points around 18 degrees of the earth signs.
Many of the tributes for Sen. John McCain have been about his public service. Born August 29, 1936 at 06:25 PM in Coco Solo, Panama, he had Pisces Ascendant with Saturn in Pisces and Sun, Venus, and Neptune in Virgo which means half his horoscope involved the two signs representing service, Virgo and Pisces.
My recent August 23, 2018 newsletter (Full Moon Weekend) stated that if you have any planets in opposition in your horoscope, there is a “push and pull” between two primary needs. You are challenged to integrate two inherently different and opposing forces. Virgo in opposition to Pisces symbolizes the battle between the everyday demands of life (Virgo) and a more universal viewpoint on life (Pisces).
Virgo is by nature discriminating, analytical, critical, and something of a perfectionist. Order, exactness, and attention to details are essential for Virgo. Pisces, on the other hand, is more concerned with the overall perspective when compared to Virgo. There is a modesty and humility to both signs. Virgo represents the servant and Pisces the slave. Both signs are related to helping others through service and public welfare.

09:30 PM Moon enters Taurus where it remains until early Sunday morning when it enters the next sign, Gemini. With Sun in Virgo and Moon in Taurus, we have an opportunity for productivity and good work. It is a good time to clean things up and get things done even though it's a holiday weekend here in the states. Taurus and Virgo tend to be pragmatic, efficient, and productive.
Virgo and Taurus derive security from contact with the earth (gardening, camping, living in the country), from working with natural materials (making bread, using clay, woodworking, using natural fibers), or from developing manual skills and practical expertise in specific areas.
Over the years, clients with this sign combination emphasized in their horoscope (or with a second and six house emphasis) always seem to have productive jobs which bring them financial stability. They offer many necessary skills and talents to any business, project, and home environment. They are the essence of a steady and productive employee.
Taurus and Virgo do not have the flair and spontaneity of the fire signs (Aries Leo Sagittarius), for example, but they can be counted on to get the job done and to bring value to whatever they are involved with. Taurus does not budge from wanting everything to be set and calm. Virgo is service oriented and works hard to make sure everything is in order.

How to Benefit from This Information
These newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and the lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how good the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
With Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are now significant challenging aspects in your horoscope.
Note that the traits given for each sign in these newsletters are not intended to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character fully from an astrological perspective, there are dozens of other factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
