Mars Turns Direct
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
This week is calmer than many of the recent weeks described in these newsletters. There are no significant alarming or negative aspects which makes it better for right timing.
Monday is relaxed and passive with Moon in Pisces making four favorable lunar aspects and Mercury-Jupiter peaking early Tuesday morning.
Matters pick up and begin to move more quickly starting early Tuesday afternoon when Moon enters Aries where it remains until late Thursday evening.
There are three * factors this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The most significant is Mars, the planet of energy and initiative, turning direct Monday morning which hopefully, will enable you to move forward more readily with your plans and projects.

00:31 AM * (Mercury in Leo 90 Jupiter in Scorpio) in effect this past week, this aspect brings a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech. It is associated with the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, and language skills and are more interested in the big picture than details. Their optimism and enthusiastic plans need balance with realism and attention to details; else they are prone to errors in judgment.
09:54 AM Moon in Pisces becomes Void until 12:35 PM when it enters the next sign, Aries.
12:35 PM Moon enters Aries where it remains until Thursday evening when it enters the next sign, Taurus. With Moon in bold and energized Aries until Thursday evening, it’s a good time to take initiatives and explore new ideas and areas.
Those with Aries and Virgo emphasized in their horoscope or relationships, and to a lesser degree, those with a first and sixth house emphasis, need to understand and adjust to the differences between these two signs.
Aries is naturally confident. Virgo is more insecure. Aries assumes its natural role as a leader while Virgo is more the supporter in the background. Aries is the risk taker with high hopes and far-reaching wishes. Virgo is more the 9-to-5 dedicated worker focused on their duties and responsibilities.
Aries is the extrovert wanting to be center-stage and in the limelight. Virgo is the introvert willing to work behind the scenes to make sure everything is operating efficiently and effectively.
Aries can throw caution to the wind while Virgo worries a great deal about doing things correctly and adequately. Aries is action now. It relies on impulse and instincts while Virgo needs to mull things over carefully to make sure everything makes sense and is in order before moving forward.
In relationships and within you, the picky, discriminating nature of the earth-sign Virgo can put a damper on the enthusiasm of the fire in Aries. And the zest and impetuousness of the fire-sign Aries can scorch Virgo’s need for certainty and order in their lives.
02:57 PM (Moon in Aries 00 Chiron in Aries) brings to the forefront woman with caring and healing abilities.
05:36 PM (Moon in Aries 90 Saturn in Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but tend to be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
Wednesday, August 29
08:55 PM (Moon in Aries 150 Jupiter in Scorpio) enhances social consciousness, kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, and emotional support.
11:39 PM * (Mercury in Leo 150 Pluto in Capricorn) people with this aspect have deep and penetrating minds. They can get to the heart of the matter and are interested in anything secret, mysterious, or hidden, including the deeper aspects of the human psyche. They possess an aptitude for private investigation, psychology, and research, and are drawn to esoteric studies.
Thursday, August 30
12:53 AM (Moon in Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors often not realized till later.
01:02 AM (Moon in Aries 120 Mercury in Leo) brings opportunities for communication, discussions, writing, and sales. Being in the fire signs, Aries and Leo, this aspect brings additional opportunities for initiating and promoting new ideas.
06:56 AM (Moon in Aries 180 Venus in Libra) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
07:03 PM (Moon in Aries 90 Mars in Capricorn) creates spontaneity and high energy enthusiasm but also brings heightened emotions, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even forceful actions.
07:03 PM Moon in Aries becomes Void until entering the next sign, Taurus, at 09:30 PM.
How to Benefit from This Information
These newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possibilities for around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The * factors listed are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how good the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
With Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are now significant challenging aspects in your horoscope.
Note that the traits given for each sign in these newsletters are not intended to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character fully from an astrological perspective, there are dozens of other factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
