Full Moon Weekend

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

Tomorrow afternoon through early Saturday morning EDT favors social and interpersonal situations including discussions, meetings, gatherings, and parties with three favorable lunar aspects related to pleasant conversation and lively interactions.

Saturday two * solar aspects peak favoring business, scientific, and professional matters this past week.

Sunday brings a Virgo-Pisces Full Moon and two * aspects which complicated interpersonal situations this past week including lies and misrepresentation.

These and other factors are described below.

Friday, August 24

The Moon entered Aquarius early yesterday afternoon where it remains until early Sunday morning when it enters the next sign, Pisces. With Sun in Virgo and Moon in Aquarius, we have a bright, critical, and exacting sign combination with tremendous mental potentials. Aquarius rules inventions, sudden insights, and scientific breakthroughs while Virgo is more oriented toward a logical and step-by-step approach. Aquarius provides freshness, originality, and creativity while Virgo offers discrimination, order, and discipline.

12:49 AM (Moon in Aquarius 180 Node in Leo) favors teamwork and networking and enhances social interactions and any connections or alliances with groups large and small.

04:27 PM (Moon in Aquarius 180 Mercury in Leo) creates an active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds favoring reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.

09:55 PM (Moon in Aquarius 90 Jupiter in Scorpio) increases the possibilities for kindness, hope, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

Saturday, August 25

12:38 AM (Moon in Aquarius 120 Venus in Libra) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

12:38 AM Moon in Aquarius goes Void until early Sunday morning when it enters the next sign, Pisces

12:37 PM * (Sun in Virgo 120 Uranus in Taurus) increased the possibilities for originality, creativity, and breakthroughs this past week especially with science and technology. This favorable solar aspect is related to the technician, innovator, and inventor.

06:07 PM * (Sun in Virgo 120 Saturn in Capricorn) people with this solar aspect are steady over time. They are also firm, careful, disciplined, organized, dependable, realistic, pragmatic, and persistent. It’s an excellent aspect for the business, professional, and scientific world.

Sunday, August 26

01:32 AM Moon enters Pisces where it remains until early Tuesday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Aries.

07:56 AM * (Virgo-Pisces Full Moon) with any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, or birth near a Full Moon, there is a need to understand and find a middle ground between the needs of the two signs involved. There are significant differences in how they approach life.

Furthermore, if you have any planets in opposition in your horoscope, there is a “push and pull” between two primary needs in your life. You are challenged to integrate two inherently different and opposing forces. The Full Moon today is a good example. Virgo in opposition to Pisces symbolizes the battle between the everyday demands of life (Virgo) and a universal viewpoint on life (Pisces).

Virgo is by nature discriminating, analytical, critical, and something of a perfectionist. Order, exactness, and attention to details are essential for Virgo. Pisces, on the other hand, is more concerned with the overall perspective and can be lax, disorganized, and even sloppy when compared to Virgo.

Virgo is the lab technician breaking down data to find a specific result while Pisces is the mystic seeking a cosmic perspective. Virgo is practical and logical while Pisces is idealistic and intuitive. Virgo is focused more on what needs to be corrected while Pisces tends to be naive with a focus on the goodness of humanity. Virgo can become too mundane and have their heads stuck in the sand while Pisces can live in a fantasy world and chase rainbows.

There is a modesty and humility to both signs. Astrologically, Virgo represents the servant and Pisces the slave. Both signs are related to health, health care, and helping others through service. Virgo is the nurse and health practitioner. Pisces is hospitals and places of rest and recuperation.

Both signs are introverts by nature. They are not innately confident or overbearing. They need encouragement and approval before they feel confident and comfortable with the world at large.

01:04 PM (Moon in Pisces 150 Node in Leo) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

03:20 PM * (Venus in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) brings the potential for intense and complicated romantic situations. People with this aspect can be overly affected by their emotional intensity, fanatic attachments, and sexual desires. If you met someone new or started a new romantic relationship this past week, be aware of your underlying motivations.

08:29 PM * (Mercury in Leo 150 Neptune in Pisces) favors imagination and creativity, but this aspect is also related to lies and misrepresentations. With this aspect, you need to be careful with your thinking and assumptions. The imagination associated with Neptune can get out of hand. Things can look to good to be true. The mind can play tricks. False assumptions are made. There can be confusion, deception, faulty thinking, and a lack of clarity. Be careful with your assumptions. Carefully analyze the details and be as objective as possible. This aspect also lends to storms and high waters with Mercury ruling wind and Neptune ruling water.

How to Benefit from This Information

These newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possibilities for around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

The * factors listed are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how good the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

With Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are now significant challenging aspects in your horoscope.

Note that the traits given for each sign in these newsletters are not intended to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character fully from an astrological perspective, there are dozens of other factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
