These news headlines are from the past few days. They are relevant to the highly charged aspect, Mars square Uranus, in effect this past week and exact this Wednesday.
When Mars and Uranus come into conflict, there is more excitement, stress, restlessness, impulsiveness, and aggravations than normal. The status quo tends to be upset with surprises, unexpected events, and turbulent changes. It can be like lightning bolts coming out of nowhere. It feels like something is ready to erupt.
People with a discordant Mars-Uranus aspect in their horoscope are typically bold, courageous, and freedom loving, but also prone to obstinacy, intolerance, tensions, brutal frankness, rash acts, and accidents and injuries.
Around the world, this aspect increases the possibilities for outbursts, rage, strife, assaults, attacks, accidents, injuries, violence, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, extreme weather, electrical storms and blackouts, and battles, suicide bombings, and terrorist acts.
All this sounds negative, but these challenges are a part of life just as when my newsletters promise more peaceful and harmonious times.
For you, this week will probably be life as normal, but everyone will be a little more edgy. It's a time to be on alert and to know what's going on in your horoscope.
This is not an ideal time for traveling, getting married, making major decisions, or starting a job, business, or anything else such as opening a US Embassy in Jerusalem or living near a volcano in Hawaii.
If you were born around the twenty-first of January, April, July, and October, or have planets and points around zero degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius), you should be more careful and vigilant.
On the plus side, Mars square Uranus increases the possibilities for determination, virility, and leadership. These two planets represent the fighter and soldier. As a pair they can generate extra energy and determination to help you be more productive and achieving.
The other relevant astrological factors for the first four days of this week are listed below.
~ Monday, May 14
Yesterday afternoon Moon entered Taurus where it remains until Tuesday at 04:43 PM when it enters the next sign, Gemini. With the Sun and Moon in the fixed earth-sign Taurus, it’s a good time to be working on practical matters despite the volatile Mars-Uranus aspect described above.
04:58 AM Moon in Taurus aligns with Saturn in Capricorn to provide an atmosphere for steadiness, conscientiousness, pragmatism, and realistic plans, especially involving business and professional matters. People with this lunar aspect are responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
05:44 AM Moon in Taurus square Node in Leo favors networking and enhances any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
08:07 PM Moon in Taurus opposite Jupiter in Scorpio creates a wholesome atmosphere fostering kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, emotional support, and social consciousness.
~ Tuesday, May 15
02:05 AM Moon in Taurus aligns with Pluto in Capricorn which increases the possibilities for deeper feelings and psychic impressions, especially involving women. This aspect also increases the possibilities for solid and practical business plans because it’s in the earth-signs, Taurus and Capricorn.
07:47 AM the New Moon with Moon aligned with the Sun at 24 degrees Taurus bringing an emphasis on the house in your horoscope ruled by Taurus.
11:16 AM Uranus enters Taurus for the first time in 84 years. This event is major news in the world of astrology and will be explained in detail in future newsletters and workshops.
04:29 PM Moon in Taurus aligns with Mars in Capricorn to create an energized time to trust your instincts and to be bold and direct especially regarding practical and business matters with this aspect involving the earth-signs, Taurus and Capricorn.
04:29 PM Moon in Taurus goes Void until 04:43 PM when it enters the next sign, Gemini, where it remains until late Thursday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Cancer.
~ Wednesday, May 16
12:54 AM Mars enters Aquarius after being in Capricorn since March 17 where it challenged the cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn). With Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, check any planet or point you have in the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius). Knowing this is important for right timing because at some time before when Mars enters the next sign, Pisces, you are more likely to make a mistake due to the increased demands, stress, and possible conflicts related to these planets and points.
03:03 AM Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus is the powerful aspect highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
06:42 AM Moon in Gemini 150 Saturn Capricorn can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
07:16 PM Moon in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
09:07 PM Moon in Gemini 150 Jupiter in Scorpio fosters a wholesome atmosphere involving kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, emotional support, and social consciousness.
~ Thursday, May 17
03:20 AM Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely, but these factors are often not realized until later.
02:17 PM Moon in Gemini conjunct Venus in Gemini is a wonderful aspect fostering cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
02:17 PM Moon in Gemini goes Void until 05:47 PM when it enters the next sign, Cancer, where it remains until Saturday evening when it enters the next sign, Leo.
06:53 PM Moon in Cancer 150 Mars in Aquarius can intensify any interpersonal situation. There’s more likely to be impatience, intensity, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
08:09 PM Moon in Cancer square Chiron Aries brings opportunities for healing, relationships, and families.
How to Benefit from This Information
These newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions are meant to describe the different possibilities around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the greater your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events, whether you know it or not.
The most important factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. If negative aspects now dominate your horoscope, your chances of success with right timing are diminished no matter how good the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage timing your decisions and activities.
The Moon (lunar) aspects listed in these newsletters are in effect for hours before and until the times (Eastern Time) given. The non-lunar aspects should be given greater consideration for right timing because they are more important. They are typically in effect for about a week before the times given (Eastern Time). Any business, project, decision, relationship, and childbirth, for example, started around the date given will have the qualities of that aspect.
With Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. Sometimes it’s better to do things with no purpose in mind versus trying to be doing something special and productive.
