A Busier Weekend
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
My last newsletter explained why the planetary energies for the middle of this week were more relaxed. There were not many aspects and they were not stressful. In contrast, the next three days are much busier. There are four significant aspects, and there are several challenging lunar aspects including midday Sunday.
Next week is even busier. In fact, it’s major with three important factors starting to build up now. On Tuesday Uranus enters Taurus for the first time in 84 years, and on Wednesday Mars enters Aquarius and then immediately squares Uranus. It's time to be on alert, and it's time to know what's going on in your horoscope. Much more about all this in future newsletters.
The right-timing astrological factors for this weekend are listed below.
~ Friday, May 11
05:02 AM Moon in Pisces goes Void until 08:40 AM when it enters the next sign, Aries, where it remains until Sunday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Taurus.
With Sun in the earth-sign Taurus and Moon in the fire-sign Aries, we have two signs which operate quite differently. In a nutshell, Aries wants to go faster, and Taurus needs to go slower.
Aries is more quick, excitable, and expressive. Taurus is more calm, steady, and passive. Aries wants excitement and freedom with no boundaries. Taurus wants consistency and certainty with practical results.
Aries first response to any situation is action, whether appropriate or not. Taurus responds with more of a wait-and-see approach, or let’s allow the situation to resolve itself in its own time.
Aries enjoys action and stimulation. It seeks the challenge of new adventures. Taurus above all else wants tranquility, stability, and security. Aries says, “let’s jump in and get going” while Taurus says, “I need to make sure this is reasonable before I step forward.”
On the plus side, the down-to-earth practicality of Taurus can temper and stabilize the exuberance of Aries, and the need for Aries to get going and explore new ideas and territories can motivate Taurus to move beyond their set habits and lifestyle.
Good careers for this sign combination are any field combining the explorative and adventuresome nature of Aries with the steadiness and artistic strengths of Taurus.
10:52 AM Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron in Aries brings special opportunities for healing, relationships, and families.
07:10 AM Sun in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn is a more important aspect in effect this past week. People with a favorable aspect between their Sun and Pluto have a deep belief in their power and ability to survive any change and to emerge victoriously from any difficulty. They have tremendous inner resources and strength but can have little respect for people who avoid confronting life and their destiny.
~ Saturday, May 12
12:34 AM Moon in Aries square Saturn in Capricorn can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
01:04 AM Venus in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn. This aspect is more important. It’s in effect for days and brings the potential for intense and complicated romantic situations. People with this aspect can be overly affected by their fanatic attachments and sexual desires. If you meet someone new or start a new romantic relationship, be aware of your underlying motivations.
09:30 AM Mercury in Aries square Mars in Capricorn Mercury is more important because it has been in effect the past days. People with this aspect have strong and active minds. They love to discuss matters openly and directly but tend to be rash, obstinate, faultfinding, argumentative, and judgmental which can get them in trouble with disputes and lawsuits.
05:01 PM Moon in Aries 150 Jupiter in Scorpio can bring a wholesome atmosphere fostering kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, emotional support, and social consciousness.
10:53 PM Moon in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors are often not realized until later.
~ Sunday, May 13
06:50 AM Mercury in Aries conjunct Uranus in Aries is a more important aspect in effect for days. People with this aspect are creative, independent, and original thinkers. They are excited by new ideas, discoveries, and innovations. Their mind functions in an intuitive and nonlinear fashion. Sudden insights and ideas often come to them "out of the blue." They grasp ideas quickly and often become impatient with those who are slower or more cautious. Often, they are considered eccentric and unusual in their interests by more conservative minds. They do well in an open, unpredictable atmosphere where flexibility and quick responses are needed. There is typically an aptitude for science, mathematics, electronics, or astrology.
08:40 AM Mercury moves from Aries to Taurus where it remains until May 29 when it enters the next sign, Gemini. Mercury in Taurus brings cognitive and intellectual benefits to Taurus and the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn.
12:31 PM Moon in Aries square Mars in Capricorn can intensify any interpersonal situation. Impatience, intensity, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions are more likely. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
02:04 PM Moon in Aries conjunct Uranus in Aries can create highly charged situations, especially involving females and family matters. There can be an increase in one’s instincts and motivations, but also more willfulness, restlessness, excitability, bluntness, and impatience. If you are in the middle of a meeting or an intense discussion, for example, keep in mind how highly charged the situation can become. Don’t overreact or else matters may quickly get out of hand.
02:04 PM Moon Aries becomes Void until 02:15 PM when it enters the next sign, Taurus.
02:56 PM Moon in Taurus conjunct Mercury in Taurus creates a more active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which favors reflection, communication, discussions, and writing. Being in the earth-sign Taurus, this aspect brings additional opportunities for practical and business planning and decisions.
How to Benefit from This Information
The aspect descriptions in these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they describe the different possibilities around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the greater your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events, whether you know it or not.
The most important factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. If negative aspects now dominate your horoscope, your chances of success with right timing are diminished no matter how good the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage timing your decisions and activities.
The Moon (lunar) aspects listed in these newsletters are in effect for hours before and until the times (Eastern Time) given. The non-lunar aspects should be given greater consideration for right timing because they are more important. They are typically in effect for about a week before the times given (Eastern Time). Any business, project, decision, relationship, and childbirth, for example, started around the date given will have the qualities of that aspect.
With Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. Sometimes it’s better to do things with no purpose in mind versus trying to be doing something special and productive.
