Busy Days
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
The first four days of this week are busier than normal in the sky.
Sun conjunct Uranus in Aries in effect from last week through this Wednesday is a powerful aspect which occurs once a year. It increases the possibilities for originality, creativity, and breakthroughs especially in science and technology, but can also bring sudden, unexpected, disruptive, and even shocking events and decisions, especially involving men. Weather extremes, earthquakes, violence, anarchy, and military actions are more likely.
Mercury going direct this morning is probably continuing to bring shifts and changes with your plans, decisions, negotiations, projects, and relationships because Mercury rules thinking and attitudes.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should be aware of Mars now at 16 to 19 degrees of Capricorn. Extra stress, conflicts, and demands are more likely for anyone born around 15 to 18 degrees of these signs and for anyone with planets or points around the same degrees of the same signs.
Tuesday is a busy day in the sky. Two week-long aspects peak, the Moon makes several favorable aspects, and Saturn goes retrograde.
Thursday has several discordant lunar aspects, and the Sun moves from Aries to Taurus.
~ Monday, April 16
01:59 AM Moon in Aries conjunct Uranus in Aries can bring stronger instincts and ambitions, but also highly charged emotional situations. Willfulness, nervousness, restlessness, excitability, bluntness, and impatience are more likely. If you are in the middle of a discussion, for example, keep in mind that the situation can easily get out of hand.
01:59 AM the Moon goes Void until 04:50 AM when it enters Taurus.
With Sun in the late degrees of Aries and the Moon in Taurus, we have a contrast in styles. In a nutshell, Aries wants to go faster, and Taurus needs to go slower.
Aries is more quick, excitable, and expressive. Taurus is more calm, steady, and passive. Aries wants excitement and freedom with no boundaries. Taurus wants consistency and certainty with practical results.
Aries says, “let’s jump in and get going” while Taurus says, “I need to make sure this is reasonable and practical before I step forward.”
For these reasons, the fiery nature of Aries can scorch and upset the pragmatic nature of earthy Taurus, and the slow, methodical nature of the earth-sign Taurus can smother the quickness and spontaneity of the fire-sign Aries.
On the other hand, the down to earth practicality of Taurus can temper and stabilize the exuberance of Aries, and the need for Aries to get going and explore new ideas and territories can motivate Taurus to move beyond their set habits and lifestyle.
Good careers for this sign combination are any field combining the explorative and adventuresome nature of Aries with the steadiness and artistic strengths of Taurus.
08:37 PM Moon in Taurus aligns with Saturn in Capricorn to provide an atmosphere for steadiness, conscientiousness, pragmatism, and realistic plans, especially involving business and professional matters because this aspect involves the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn.
~ Tuesday, April 17
01:06 AM Moon in Taurus square Node in Leo favors networking and any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
02:59 AM Venus in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio is more important because it is in effect this past week and involves the two benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter. In a horoscope, Venus Jupiter aspects indicate tactfulness, a warm heart, an attractive personality, popularity, and happiness. Who doesn’t want this?
09:03 AM Venus in Taurus alignment with Pluto in Capricorn is special. This aspect, also in effect this past week, creates strong feelings of love and attractiveness as well as special artistic gifts.
09:48 AM Moon in Taurus trine Mars in Capricorn provides enthusiasm, motivation, and a time to trust your instincts especially regarding practical and business matters with the earth signs Taurus and Capricorn involved.
04:04 PM Moon in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio increases the possibility for kindness, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support with any interpersonal situation or social event.
05:15 PM Moon in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and practical. It also increases the possibilities for solid business plans as well as deeper feelings and psychic impressions.
06:04 PM Moon in Taurus conjunct Venus in Taurus is a lovely aspect, especially because the Moon is exalted in the Taurus and Venus is the ruler of Taurus. Cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females, are more likely.
06:04 PM the Moon goes Void until 08:02 AM Wednesday when it enters Taurus.
09:46 PM Saturn goes retrograde at 09 degrees of Capricorn which can be far more significant than Mercury going retrograde, especially if you are Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, or Capricorn born around the thirtieth of the month. This position may be creating challenges, extra work, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for you as well as for anyone with points or planets around 09 degrees of the above signs. Saturn retrograde is important for everyone according to what house Capricorn rules in your horoscope.
~ Wednesday, April 18
10:00 AM Sun conjunct Uranus in Aries is a significant aspect which was described at the top of this newsletter.
11:25 PM Moon in Gemini 150 Saturn in Capricorn can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but they can also be lonely, melancholic, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
~ Thursday, April 19
10:10 AM Moon in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
02:14 PM Moon in Gemini 150 Mars in Capricorn can intensify any interpersonal situation. Impatience, intensity, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions are possible. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
06:47 PM Moon in Gemini 150 Jupiter in Scorpio can increase good feelings and the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, and uplifting emotional support with any interpersonal situation or social event.
7:48 PM Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn can create complicated interpersonal situations. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations are more likely involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles.
11:12 PM Sun moves from Aries to Taurus where it remains until May 20. More about this shift in future newsletters.
How to Benefit From This Information
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, or major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the greater your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events, whether you know it or not.
The most important factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. If negative aspects now dominate your horoscope, your chances of success with right timing are diminished no matter how good the aspects are in the sky as described in these newsletters. Obviously, I cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage timing your decisions and activities.
The Moon (lunar) aspects listed in these newsletters are in effect for hours before and until the times (Eastern Time) given. The descriptions given are not intended to tell you what will happen at these times. Instead, the descriptions can be helpful if you are trying to understand the planetary energies around a certain time if you are planning to do or start a meeting, party, discussion, trip, or any other activity.
The non-lunar aspects listed should be given greater consideration for right timing because they are more important. They are typically in effect for about a week before the times given (Eastern Time). Any business, project, decision, relationship, and childbirth, for example, started around the date given will have the qualities of that aspect.
With Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. Sometimes it’s better to do things with no purpose in mind versus always trying to be doing something special and productive.
