Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

Sun, Chiron, and Neptune in Pisces continue to bring benefits to the water signs (Cancer Scorpio Pisces) and the house in your horoscope ruled by Pisces. On Tuesday, Mercury and Venus moving from Pisces to Aries benefits the fire signs (Aries Leo Sagittarius) and the house in your horoscope ruled by Aries.

~ Thursday, March 08

The Moon entered Sagittarius yesterday afternoon where it remains until Saturday morning when it enters the next sign Capricorn.

With the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Sagittarius, it’s a good time to search far and wide for answers. No two signs are more related to seeking and searching for life’s answers and meaning. Both Sagittarius and Pisces are ruled by Jupiter which means they are more idealistic, generous, open-minded, and spiritually oriented than other sign combinations.

There are though differences you should know about if these two signs are emphasized in your horoscope, your ninth and twelfth houses are active, or you are in a Sagittarius-Pisces relationship.

Sagittarius is more open, confident and optimistic. It likes to think big-picture and to take chances. It broadens its life with learning experiences, getting out in nature, and exploring other cultures. Pisces is subtler and more introvert, receptive, and passive. It seeks the inner world of reflection and meditation with a proclivity toward music, theater, dance, and the arts.

Sagittarius is intellectual and intuitive and is related to learning, scholarship, professors, academics, and publishing. Pisces is more about psychic sensitivities and answers from within. Sagittarius is gurus, priests, religions, ethics, and principles while Pisces is about seeking perfection by connecting with the inner world of contemplation, reflection, and meditation.

All these mystical, psychic, and intuitive explorations need to be grounded with real-life experiences. The boundaries of the egos can get lost in their urges to merge with the universe.

08:53 PM Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces is not ideal for logical thinking and practical decisions. With Neptune active, haziness and emotional confusion are more likely. This period is better suited for parties, prayer, meditation, daydreaming, imagination, and creativity.

11:46 PM This is the exact time Jupiter, the planet of hope, opportunity, and expansion, goes retrograde. As explained in previous newsletters, Jupiter has been “slowing down” the past month. Today, it becomes “stationary” and then starts to move retrograde relative to the viewpoint of the earth.

Jupiter’s position at 23 degrees Scorpio offers many positive possibilities for anyone born around the thirteenth of November, and to a lesser degree, anyone born around the thirteenth any month and anyone with planets and points in their horoscope around 23 degrees.

~ Friday, March 09

07:54 PM Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Mars in Sagittarius increases the possibilities for strong desires, impatience, impulsiveness, volatile emotions, and forceful actions.

09:27 PM Moon in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries creates enhanced opportunities for outdoor and athletic activities as well as increased instincts, attentiveness, willfulness, intuition, and forward-looking aspirations.

At this time, Moon in Sagittarius goes Void until Saturday morning when it enters the next sign Capricorn where it remains until Monday evening when it enters the next sign Aquarius.

~ Saturday, March 10

With the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Capricorn, it’s a good time to realize and to balance the hard and soft parts of your life. Capricorn and Pisces are about as opposite and different as two signs can be.

The water-sign Pisces is more subjective and comfortable with the inner world of emotions, feelings, and sentiments. On the other hand, the earth-sign Capricorn is more objective and comfortable with the outer world of business, research, and science.

Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune which are sky bound and represent expansion, diffusion, and transcendence. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which is earthbound and represents focus, responsibilities, and the reality of everyday life.

Pisces wants more inner-world understanding while Capricorn strives for worldly accomplishments. Pisces is more passive and accepting of the way things are while Capricorn is active and determined to control matters and accomplish its goals.

Good careers for this sign combination are any management and business activities related to the arts, entertainment, and creativity. Also, any work combining Capricorn’s administrative abilities with the hopeful and benevolent inclinations of Pisces.

02:31 PM Moon in Capricorn square Venus in Aries can bring cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

08:25 PM Moon in Capricorn square Mercury in Aries creates a more active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which favors reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.

09:05 PM Moon in Capricorn conjunct Saturn in Capricorn can bring a realistic perspective and even put a damper on anything in your life, especially regarding females and family matters. People with this lunar aspect are responsible and duty-bound, but can also be melancholic and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.

~ Sunday, March 11

03:00 AM Mercury in Aries squares Saturn in Capricorn. This aspect, in effect this past week, occurs twice a year and brings depth of thought and powers of observation. People with this aspect in their horoscope prefer the concrete and practical versus the abstract. They can also be inhibited, mistrustful, and prone to depressed moods.

07:41 AM Mars in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries. This aspect, also in effect this past week, occurs about once a year and brings the potential for intensified creativity, a desire for freedom and independence, and sudden decisions and physical actions.

~ Notes

The Moon (lunar) aspects listed in these newsletters are short-term effects. They are in effect hours before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, as opposed to the Sun (solar) and other planetary aspects which can be in effect for a week or more.

With the lunar aspects listed, often nothing special will happen for you at these times, but the descriptions given can be helpful if you are trying to understand what is going on at a particular time and if you are planning to do or start something according to the principles of right timing.

For example, choosing a more favorable period per the lunar descriptions in these newsletters will give you an advantage if you are planning a meeting, discussion, trip, or any other activity.

With Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you expected. At times, it’s better to do things just for the heck of it versus trying to accomplish something important and significant.

The basic premise with right timing is that if you start a marriage, trip, surgery, or business, for example, at an inopportune time, the chances of success are reduced no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better your timing, the greater your chances of success.
