Right Timing Through Weekend

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

As it has been for a while, there are no major discordant aspects in the sky through this weekend which increases the possibilities for success for anything you start or begin.

But there are always other factors to consider such as what is occurring in your horoscope. For example, Saturn now at 07 degrees of Capricorn can create realities, tests, challenges, delays, and losses for any planets and points in your horoscope around 07 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

~ Friday, February 23

Moon entered Gemini last evening, and today it squares three planets in Pisces (Mercury, Neptune, and Venus) described below.

With the Sun in the water-sign Pisces and the Moon in the air-sign Gemini, there is a contrast in the sky. Air and water do not mix easily. It can get a bit misty and confusing as it is with the other air water combinations (Gemini Cancer, Gemini Scorpio, Cancer Libra, Cancer Aquarius, Libra Scorpio, Libra Pisces, Scorpio Aquarius, and Aquarius Pisces).

Gemini is more outward and intellectual while Pisces is more inward and intuitive. Gemini is related to what is conscious, rational, and linear. On the other, Pisces is more unconscious and blending. It seeks inner meaning and universal truths. Pisces may not be able to articulate their thoughts and ideas as convincingly as Gemini does. Gemini is more factual, like a teacher and reporter. Pisces is more the poet and mystic.

Pisces-Gemini is a creative and playful combination. The active mind and the busy hands of Gemini can blend with the imagination and creative talents of Pisces to produce wonderful writing, designs, music, and other forms of artistic expression.

Both signs are tolerant, easy-going, and peace-loving which goes a long way toward maintaining harmony in relationships. They share a love of beauty, art, music, and nature along with an affinity for gardening, plants, and animals.

12:51 PM Moon in Gemini squaring Mercury in Pisces offers possibilities for an active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which in turn favors reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.

06:28 PM Moon in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces. This is not an ideal time for logical thinking and practical decisions. With Neptune active, haziness and emotional confusion are more likely. This period is better suited for parties, prayer, meditation, daydreaming, imagination, and creativity.

11:26 PM Moon in Gemini squaring Venus in Pisces can bring cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

~ Saturday, February 24

12:57 AM Moon in Gemini opposes Mars in Sagittarius. This combination increases the possibilities for impatience, disruptive words, volatile emotions, and interpersonal differences.

Moon in Gemini is Void from 02:58 PM until 10:26 PM when it enters the next sign, Cancer, where it then remains until late Monday evening when it enters the next sign, Leo.

With the Sun in the water-sign Pisces and the Moon in water-sign Cancer, we have a harmonious Sun Moon combination favoring healing and acceptance on many levels including any family issue.

Cancer is related to home, family, heritage, and subconscious feelings. Pisces is acceptance, kindness, forgiveness, and healing.

If Pisces and Cancer are emphasized in a horoscope or in a relationship, there can be a tremendous flow of feeling, sympathy, and emotional rapport. There can be a depth of sharing not found with other sign combinations because they understand and feel the other person instinctively.

~ Sunday, February 25

07:01 AM Venus in Pisces squares Mars in Sagittarius. This aspect, in effect this past week, creates strong emotions and affections with the planet of love and the planet of sex in conflict. People with this aspect can the lustful and lascivious. At the extreme, they can have difficulties curbing their sensual desires resulting in numerous romantic partners. Many of their relationships can be short-lived because they become bored and rush to explore other options.

07:26 AM Mercury in Pisces conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. This aspect, also in effect this past week, occurs once a year and brings the potential for creativity, imagination, and artistic inspiration. It’s the world of dreams, fantasy, fiction, art, music, movies, drama, and the psychic.

But with this aspect active, you need to be careful with your thinking and assumptions. The imagination associated with Neptune can make things look too good to be true. The mind can play tricks on you. The effects are subtle but real. Mercury is our thinking and Neptune is related to confusion, deception, misrepresentation, faulty thinking, and a lack of clarity.

09:52 AM Moon in Cancer opposes Saturn in Capricorn. With Saturn in Capricorn until 2020, the Moon will be opposite Saturn every month for the next three years. This combination can put a damper on any matter involving families and females. People with this aspect tend to be melancholic and find it hard to express their feelings and emotions.

Sunday evening there are two lovely lunar aspects.

08:51 PM Moon in Cancer trines Venus in Neptune in Pisces which should bring cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

10:49 PM Moon in Cancer trines Mercury in Pisces which creates an active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds favoring reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.

Notes

The Moon (lunar) aspects listed in these newsletters are in effect for hours before and until the times (Eastern Time) given. Often nothing special will happen for you at these times, but the descriptions can be helpful if you are trying to understand what is going on at a particular time and if you are planning to do or start something according to the principles of right timing.

With Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you expected. At times, it’s better to take your foot off the gas pedal and do things just for the heck of it.

The basic premise with right timing is that if you start a marriage, trip, surgery, or business, for example, at an inopportune time, the chances of success are reduced no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better your timing, the greater your chances of success.
