A Super Full Moon Not Since 1866

The Moon enters Leo early tomorrow afternoon, and Wednesday morning it opposes Sun in Aquarius to form a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 08:28 AM ET (Eastern Time).
Full moons occur once a month (about every 28 days), but this one is rare because a Super Moon, Blue Moon, and Lunar Eclipse will be occurring simultaneously, something which has not happened since 1866.
A Super Moon occurs when a lunar body is at its perigee (the closest approach to the earth, roughly 60,000 miles closer) which makes the Moon appear 40% bigger and 30% brighter than usual.
The sunlight refracted through the Earth’s atmosphere gives the lunar surface a reddish hue, an effect known as a Blue Moon.
The original definition of a Blue Moon is two Full Moons occurring within a single calendar month. This month there was a Full Moon on January 01 and the second one will be on Wednesday, the last day of this month.
Most of the world will be able to see this celestial event, but the best views will be from central and eastern Asia, Indonesia, New Zealand, and Australia. Alaska and Hawaii could also catch a glimpse.
What does this mean for you and the world?
This celestial event will be beautiful, and people will not be running into the streets in terror, but Super Moons are associated with major storms, earth changes, and political shifts. Curiously, President Trump’s State of the Union Address occurs Tuesday evening hours before this eclipse.
Keep in mind that the effects of Solar and Lunar Eclipses are not only about the week during which they occur. They have lasting effects as detailed in my newsletters which covered last August’s Great American Solar Eclipse.
With the Sun and Moon directly opposing each other, Lunar Eclipses symbolize conflicts between individuals, between countries, between the new and the old, and between the urges for freedom and security.
With this Super Full Moon occurring with the Sun at 11 degrees Leo 37 minutes and the Moon at 11 degrees Leo 37 minutes, any planets or personal points in your horoscope or business chart near these degrees will be impacted.
Obviously, I cannot explain how all this will be affecting you personally, but here are some examples of how the energies may be released.
If your rising sign is Leo or Aquarius, the impact will be more on your identity and relationships. If Leo and Aquarius rule your second and eighth houses, the effects will likely be financially related. If Leo and Aquarius rule your third and ninth house, the impact will be on communication, learning, and travel.
If Leo and Aquarius rule your fourth and tenth house, the effects will likely relate to your home, parents, and career. If Leo and Aquarius rule your fifth and eleventh house, your relationships with your children and friends will be relevant. And if Leo and Aquarius rule your sixth and twelfth houses, the effects will be more related to your work, health, and spirituality.
