Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting something at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the greater your chances for success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events whether you know it or not.
There are no major news items this week, but it is worth highlighting last week’s significant astrological events.
Saturn entered Capricorn where it remains the next three years. This is significant for everyone, especially the earth (Taurus Virgo Capricorn) and the Cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn). Mercury went Direct, so changes with your plans and challenges were more likely the past five days as your thinking and attitudes shifted. And Sun and Venus entered Capricorn to join Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn which emphasizes the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn and should enable you to get more done by working harder and longer. By the way, Capricorn rules coldness and cold weather.
The following factors are less significant than the above, but they are relevant from now through New Year’s Eve Day.
~ Wednesday: Moon in Aries conjuncts Uranus in Aries at 03:57 PM ET. This lunar aspect can create highly charged situations, especially involving females, for a few hours before and until the time given. There can be an increase in one’s instincts and motivations, but also more willfulness, bluntness, and impatience. So, if you are in the middle of a meeting or an intense discussion, for example, keep in mind how highly charged the situation can become. Don’t overreact and allow matters to get out of hand.
At this time, the Moon also goes Void until early Thursday morning when it enters the next sign Taurus. Recall that Void periods are better suited for doing something different or just for the heck of it as opposed to making important decisions or starting something new and important in your life.
~ Thursday: Moon enters Taurus which combined with Sun in Capricorn creates a terrific opportunity for being productive, getting things done, and making business and professional decisions. Anyone with Taurus and Capricorn emphasized in their horoscope can be counted on to build something solid, worthwhile, and sustainable with their steady efforts. Capricorn strives for worldly accomplishments, and the pragmatism and steady nature of Taurus supports such efforts.
At 08:37 AM Moon in Taurus aligns favorably with Venus in Capricorn which favors cheerfulness, pleasantries, gracefulness, peaceful times, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
At 10:29 PM Moon in Taurus opposes Mars in Scorpio. People with this highly charged aspect tend to be impatient, intense, quick to anger, and not always diplomatic with how they approach matters. Therefore, if you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that this aspect can create disruptive words and emotions, especially involving females, for a few hours before and until the time given. And with Taurus and Scorpio involved, the conflicts are more likely to be related to sex and money.
~ Friday: Moon in Taurus aligns favorably with Pluto in Capricorn at 09:00 AM which symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and probably psychic. At this time, the Moon also goes Void until early Saturday morning when it enters the next sign Gemini.
~ Saturday: Moon in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces at 10:36 PM. The energies around this aspect for a few hours before and until the time given are so different from the comments above about Moon in Taurus aligned with Sun in Capricorn. Moon Neptune aspects enhance imagination, creativity, and meditation, but with these two being square, this is not ideal for making logical, clear-cut decisions.
~ Sunday (New Year’s Eve Day): Moon in Gemini opposes Mercury in Sagittarius at 07:29 AM which favors writing, an active mind, and open discussions, but one needs to be careful with gossip and misdirected words.
At 06:38 PM the Moon goes Void until 07:27 AM New Year’s Day suggesting a good time to do something new and refreshing this New Year’s Eve because void periods are better suited for doing something different or just for the heck of it.
