Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
Yesterday morning the Moon entered Pisces, and this morning Moon at 14 degrees Pisces opposed Sun at 14 degrees Virgo to form a Full Moon.
Today at 04:29 PM EDT Moon in Pisces squares Saturn in Sagittarius. At this time the Moon also becomes Void until entering Aries tomorrow morning at 08:01 AM.
Moon square Saturn can create emotionally complex situations for a few hours. People with this aspect in their horoscope are typically serious, sincere, and dutiful but also prone to being controlling, faultfinding, and emotionally depressed.
Previous newsletters have explained why the past few weeks have been “tricky” for many people and the world at large.
This Full Moon adds to these “tricky” times because Neptune is currently at 13 degrees Pisces. Whenever Neptune aspects a planet, there is sensitivity, receptivity, and creativity but also strangeness, irrationality, and instability.
Virgo and Pisces are introverts by nature. There is modesty and humility. They are not as innately confident or overbearing as other signs. They need encouragement and approval before they feel confident and comfortable dealing with the world.
Virgo and Pisces are related to health, health care, and helping others through service. Virgo represents the servant and Pisces the slave. Virgo is the nurse and health practitioner. Pisces is hospitals and places of rest and recuperation.
Virgo by nature is discriminating, analytical, critical, and something of a perfectionist. It is the lab technician breaking down data to find a specific result. Order, exactness, and attention to details are important for Virgo.
On the other hand, Pisces is more concerned with the overall perspective and can be lax, disorganized, and sloppy when compared to Virgo. Pisces is the mystic seeking a cosmic perspective.
Virgo is more objective, practical, and logical while Pisces is more subjective, idealistic, and intuitive. Virgo is comfortable with the world of analysis, science, and critical thinking. Pisces is comfortable with the inner world of emotions, feelings, and sentiments.
Virgo focuses on what needs to be done and corrected while Pisces focuses more on the goodness of humanity. Virgo can become too mundane and have their heads stuck in the sand while Pisces can live in a fantasy world chasing rainbows.
In relationships, the critical and exacting nature of earth Virgo can smother the emotional sentimentality of the water-sign Pisces. And the emotional ups and downs of Pisces can throw the earth-sign Virgo off course with its need for order and certainty.
Virgo and Pisces can also complement and help each other. Logical Virgo can bring a more pragmatic perspective to the odd and sometimes crazy inclinations of Pisces to help them deal more effectively with the demands and practicalities of everyday life.
And compassionate Pisces can soften the exactness of Virgo by teaching them that nothing is for sure in life and that intellectual logic cannot fully understand or solve our problems.
