If you're trying to decide about an issue in your life, if you're not sure what to do next in your life, or if everything seems to be just “hanging there” for you, keep in mind that Mercury goes direct this Tuesday, September 05.

Keep in mind that Mercury going direct is not only about the exact day it goes direct. As explained many times in these newsletters, about three to five days before and after Mercury “changes direction,” you are more likely to experience shifts and changes with your plans, decisions, and projects as well as how you perceive the relationships and events in our lives.

This is because Mercury rules our thinking and attitudes as well as communication, planning, decisions, and negotiations.

With Mercury also related to data and information and its transmission, “screwy things” seem to occur during Mercury retrograde periods with computers, software, data, messages, phone calls, cell phones, emails, text messages, cable TV, appointments, meetings, trips, and lectures. But when Mercury goes direct, these problems and malfunctions often seem to “mysteriously” resolve themselves.

Mercury going direct does not mean everything will suddenly clear up and be back to normal in your life. Nor does it mean everything was supposed to go wrong and be upside-down the last three weeks.

But Mercury going direct should bring more clarity and normalcy to your life unless difficult transits now “afflict” your horoscope. In assessing your life’s situation, there are always many other factors besides Mercury retrograde to consider including the transits to your horoscope.
