It’s a busy month in the sky especially with the Great American Solar Eclipse coming on August 21.
The most significant astrological events for August are listed below. Future newsletters will explain most of these factors in detail.

August 03: Uranus goes retrograde at 29 degrees Aries which makes this a summer of shifts and surprises for those born around the last days of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn and for those with points and planets around 29 degrees of the same signs.
August 12: Mercury goes retrograde at 12 degrees Virgo until September 05 when it turns direct at 28 degrees Leo.
August 21: The Great American Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees Leo. A major astronomical and astrological event which is releasing a dramatic explosion of energy for the world and new avenues of growth for everyone.
August 22: Sun moves from Leo to Virgo which favors the earth signs (Taurus Virgo Capricorn).
August 25: Saturn goes direct at 21 degrees Sagittarius which makes this a summer of tests and lessons for those born around the eleventh day of March, June, September, and December and for those with points and planets around 21 degrees of the same signs.
August 26: Venus moves from Cancer to Leo which will give a boost to the fire signs (Aries Leo Sagittarius) and the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius).
Also significant this month:
Mars moves from 08 to 27 degrees of Leo which will provoke and challenge those with planets and points in the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius) between these degrees.
Neptune continues in retrograde moving from 14 to 13 degrees of Pisces which will confuse and mesmerize those with points and planets in the mutable signs (Gemini Virgo Sagittarius Pisces) at these degrees.
And Pluto continues in retrograde moving from 18 to 17 degrees of Capricorn which will intensify and transform those with points and planets in the cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn) at these degrees.
