Four Things to Know Now
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
First, the Moon has been in Capricorn since Saturday morning, and today it clashes with Uranus in Aries at 02:45 PM EDT. This short-term aspect can create anxiety, restlessness, and emotionally charged situations especially involving females for a few hours before and until the time given.
Second, the Moon then goes Void until 07:45 PM this evening when it enters the next sign Aquarius. Recall that during Void periods, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you expected. At times, it’s better to take your foot off the gas pedal.
Third, lunar aspects create short-term effects, but aspects from the planets such as Mercury, Venus, and Mars are far more significant. The general rule is that the longer the planet takes to circle the Sun, the more significant it is. For example, an aspect to a planet or point in your horoscope from Pluto (a 250-year cycle), Neptune (a 164-year cycle), and Uranus (an 84-year cycle) can dramatically change your life for years.
Fourth, Mercury square Neptune peaks tomorrow evening. This significant aspect has been in effect this past week, and could account for all the confusion and “he said, he said” narrative going on in Washington, D.C.
Mercury-Neptune aspects allow you to be inspired and expand your thoughts and consciousness beyond the ordinary. There is an increased interest in dreams, fantasy, fiction, art, music, movies, and drama.
The problem is that matters can get hazy and fuzzy as the boundless imagination associated with Neptune gets out of hand.
Mercury is our thoughts and thinking, and with Neptune ruling what is not real, the mind can play tricks. Lies, confusion, mistakes, faulty thinking, false assumptions, deception, gullibility, misrepresentation, and forgetfulness are more likely.
These effects are subtle but real. Neptune colors the reality of the situation. You can be misled to think you are clear with your communication while others are lost. Sometimes it’s better to say nothing than to be misunderstood.
Don’t be paranoid now, but do strive for crystalline clarity with all practical affairs. For example, if you are negotiating a deal or are having a meeting or transaction, carefully analyze the situation and try to be as objective as possible. Watch your assumptions and don’t overlook the details.
