The Relationships Full Moon

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

As explained in my recent newsletters, Mercury went retrograde yesterday and Venus remains retrograde.

The Sun is now two-thirds of the way through Aries and yesterday morning the Moon entered Libra.

Early this evening a lovely Moon-Jupiter aspect peaks at 06:58 PM EDT and early tomorrow morning there’s a Full Moon as Moon in Libra opposes Sun in Aries at 02:08 AM.

The opposition between Aries and Libra is the essence of all relationships in terms of the battle between one’s own individual will and destiny (Aries) and the need to compromise and find meaningful relationships (Libra).

Aries rules the head symbolizing its rushing forward like a ram into whatever it butts up against. Libra rules the kidneys and lower back symbolizing its bending over backward to accommodate others.

Aries sees life more from their own needs and perspective. Libra sees life more from the perspective of others and in terms of relationships. Each approach and perspective has its advantages and disadvantages.

With Aries, it’s “me first. I do what I want to when I want to want to. I need to do my thing on my own terms. It’s my way or the highway. You can tag along if you want to.”

With Libra, it’s “I need others in my life. I can’t do it alone. Let’s do this together. I don’t feel fulfilled without others. I will bend over and frankly do anything to make sure I have friends and partners in my life.”

Libra likes to look at both sides of an issue and consider any situation from every angle. It likes to discuss ideas with others, get their opinion, and sometimes has difficulty coming to a definitive decision.

Aries is prone to be just the opposite. It takes a strong, more one-sided view of a situation and frequently is uninterested in hearing others' point of view.

For an Aries-Libra relationship to work, these basic personality differences need to be addressed. We should all be aware of and learn from our opposite sign.

Aries is much more independent while Libra does not act alone and is much more affected by what other people think of them. Aries is action while Libra thinks about it. Aries is antsy and impulsive (let’s get going) while Libra is more passive and fence-sitting (I can’t make up my mind). Aries pushes and asserts while Libra is more passive and cooperative.

Over time, there must be compromise and a middle ground between these needs, or else Libra will feel that Aries is an arrogant egotist and Aries will feel that Libra is a weak-willed wimp.
