The Oscars
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
As you know, after an embarrassing Oscars mix-up, Moonlight won Best Picture in an upset that capped an Academy Awards ceremony celebrating diversity. Moonlight's win was announced after a bizarre mix-up in which Warren Beatty, joined by his Bonnie & Clyde co-star Faye Dunaway, were handed the wrong envelope and mistakenly declared La La Land the winner.
Leo and Pisces are the two signs most associated with entertainment, Hollywood, and movies. It’s the world of make-believe and fantasy.
Leo is the director, artist, musician, actor, entertainer, and showman. Pisces is imagination, fantasy, creativity, art, music, and the world of movies.
Last night was exceptional for having the Oscars. Not only was yesterday’s Solar Eclipse in Pisces, but it was conjunct Neptune (the planet ruling Pisces), and Mercury and Chiron were also in Pisces.
In fact, if the date for the yearly Oscars remains late February or early March, this planetary alignment and combination cannot happen for at least another 160 years because Neptune has a 160-year cycle.
Studying exactly what was going on in the horoscopes of Jimmy Kimmel, Warren Beatty, and all the Oscar winners and losers would be a massive research project. But it would most likely indicate that Jupiter, the planet of winning, honors, success, and luck was probably active in the charts for those who were recognized last night.
