Delays & Frustrations

A significant and challenging aspect has been building for the past week. Mars aligned with Saturn peaks this Thursday, and its effects will likely spill into Friday, Inauguration Day.
Saturn has been in the mutable sign Sagittarius for the past two years. This has challenged the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), and to varying degrees, stabilized the fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).
This aspect is quite relevant for President-Elect Trump who was born with Leo Ascendant and a Gemini Sagittarius Full Moon. This and many other factors will be explained in detail at my 2017 Forecasts Workshop this Saturday.
Three weeks ago Mars entered Pisces where it remains until January 28. This is energizing and also adding stress to the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
Mars and Saturn are stress-producing planets. Matters are intensified. Controversies and issues are brought into focus. Tensions run high and people feel frustrated, irritated and blocked. Fears, delays, disputes, bitterness, uncertainties, and heightened differences are more likely in our lives.
If you feel blocked and thwarted, this aspect may encourage you to reconsider your plans and goals. You may need a change in direction, or you may need to reduce or pursue your goals in a way that is different and more effective.
As you know, I do not write these newsletters to be negative or to frighten people, but Mars discordant to Saturn is one of the major “nasty” aspects.
They increase the probabilities for accidents, violence, murders, crime, terrorism, disasters, destruction, weather extremes, and military conflicts.
But they are favorable for hard work, focused efforts, determination, persistence and endurance.
So for now it is more appropriate to be cautious and patient than aggressive and demanding. Stay focused and catch up with what is already in front of you.
For most people (depending on your horoscope and personal cycles), nothing special will happen with this aspect. But those with their Sun, Moon, planets and points around twenty-three degrees of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) should be vigilant.
