Mutable Full Moon Tomorrow
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
This morning the Moon entered Gemini where it remains until Wednesday morning when it enters the next sign Cancer.
This evening the Moon squares Neptune in Pisces at 10:31 PM ET which can create strange, peculiar, and even irrational emotional reactions and situations.
Tomorrow afternoon the Moon opposes Saturn in Sagittarius at 02:04 PM ET which can create somber, faultfinding, and even separating feelings and situations.
Both these short-term lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours before and until the times given. They are not major aspects, but at the time the effects described can be significant.
At 07:05 PM tomorrow evening a Full Moon occurs when the Moon in the mutable sign Gemini opposes the Sun in the sign opposite Gemini, the mutable sign Sagittarius.
Note that even though President-elect Trump was born during a Gemini Sagittarius Full Moon (as opposed to tomorrow being a Sagittarius Gemini Full Moon), he has many of the attributes described in this newsletter.
Full Moons create intensity because the needs and approach to life related to the two signs involved are innately different.
But of all the sign combinations opposite each other (Aries and Libra, Taurus and Scorpio, Gemini and Sagittarius, Cancer and Capricorn, Leo and Aquarius, and Virgo and Pisces), Gemini and Sagittarius are the least different.
The challenges related to integrating the needs of these two signs are not as profound and complicated as it is with the other sign combinations.
In fact, Gemini and Sagittarius are in many ways similar because their planetary rulers (Mercury and Jupiter) are similar in nature. Both are more open, friendly and extrovert than closed, secretive and introvert.
Gemini and Sagittarius are curious and want to explore the world by seeking a variety of information and personal interactions. They love to study, travel and discover new ideas. I call this sign combination the “eternal student.”
The challenge is that both signs are more scattered than focused. They can have too much “going on.” Too many fingers in too many pies leads to “much to do about nothing.” They need to be more focused, selective and discriminating with their interests and pursuits.
The differences are that Gemini is more about the present and Sagittarius the future. Gemini is early schooling and education. Sagittarius is colleges, professors, higher education and postgraduate studies.
Gemini is casual curiosity and everyday conversations. It represents bits and pieces of information such as letters, emails, text messages, tweets, and phone calls.
Sagittarius is more about the bigger picture and accumulated knowledge. It is related to ethics, principles, religion and philosophy as well as books, libraries and encyclopedias.
