Feeling a Bit Confused

If you now feel a bit cloudy and confused about your status, decisions and future, you may want to blame it on the stars.

Twice a year the Sun squares Neptune in the sky. For the past few days and until tomorrow evening, Sun in high-flying Sagittarius is in conflict with nebulous Neptune in Pisces.

This is not a major aspect, but it can create confusion, deception, escapism, disappointments, weakness and illness, especially involving men.

Negative aspects to Neptune allure, deceive, and glamorize. One must guard against naivety, deceit, false promises, and disappointments. Things may not be as they appear. There are possible blind spots.

So be careful with: anyone new you meet, any projects you start, and any major decisions you make. You are likely to make assumptions about people and situations based more on false hopes and wishes than on reality.

This aspect also has a “sleepy-lazy” facet so you may feel less focused than normal with your daily routines and want to rest, sleep and/or retreat from the harshness of everyday life.

On the plus side, any aspect in Neptune can augment our kindness, gentleness and compassion as well as our desires to help and serve others. Neptune is also related to spiritual perceptiveness and psychic sensitivity. It opens us up to the intangible side of life.

With this in mind, it may now be better to focus more on helping others and reaching deeper levels of awareness with meditation than trying to make practical life-changing decisions.

Maybe wait till Thursday when Sun square Neptune is over and the Moon enters the practical earth-sign Capricorn.
