Cancer is related to home and family, and Libra is related to marriage and relationships. With the Moon in Cancer until Saturday afternoon, and the Sun in the last degrees of Libra, it’s a good time to highlight the following study reported in a recent issue of the magazine New Scientist.

“Young adults are moving back in with their parents because of the lack of jobs, low wages and high rent. But there may be a silver lining, at least for the parents.

To investigate the effect of living with adult children, researchers analyzed interviews with more than 50,000 volunteers from across Europe Israel who were over 50 years of age.

They found that the effect of inter-generational residence is actually really good for older people. They were less likely to be depressed if their grown-up children were back at home.

It’s something that seemed to have a greater effect on depression than their daily activities did.”
