About every three months in the sky there is a challenging aspect between Sun and Pluto, and every time my newsletters offer warnings about this aspect.
This Friday Sun squares Pluto which means that through this weekend we can expect more than normal complications, manipulation, subversion, power struggles and political maneuvering especially involving men. The possibilities are also increased for weather extremes, storms, and earthquakes as well as violence and war.
The problem is that this week’s Sun square Pluto is also aligned with a Mars Uranus midpoint which by itself is related to shocks, surprises, instability, restlessness and highly-charged situations as well as earthquakes and weather extremes.
Without trying to explain the mathematical and technical explanation of this alignment, suffice it to say that the effects of both Sun Pluto and Mars Uranus are magnified.
The most obvious manifestation is Hurricane Matthew, a Category Four storm, making landfall in Haiti bringing winds up to 145 miles an hour and rainfall exceeding three feet in some areas which, among other things, raises the threat of potentially deadly landslides and dangerous storm surges.
This is one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes in recent years. Haiti is "getting everything a major hurricane can throw at them". Communities are under water and buildings have been destroyed and damaged.
Forecasters remain uncertain whether the storm will hit the U.S. as it continues north later in the week, but its latest track has shifted to increase the threat to Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
On a personal level, you will probably not notice any differences in your life, but be especially aware of shifts and changes if you were born around the fifth of January, April, July and October, or if you have planets and points around 15 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
