Many Shifts & Changes

The Autumnal Equinox is Thursday which means the Sun will enter Libra for a month to join Jupiter already in Libra. On an equinox, day and night are of approximately equal duration all over the planet. Note that due to differences between the calendar year and the tropical year, the September equinox can occur at any time from the 21st to the 24th day of September.
This Friday Venus exits Libra and enters Scorpio until October 18. And next Tuesday, September 27, Mars leaves Sagittarius and begins a six-week trek through Capricorn. More about this later.
Perhaps the most immediate shifts and changes for you will be related to Mercury going Direct early Thursday morning.
Recall from earlier newsletters that my research shows that three to five days before and after Mercury “changes direction” we are more likely to experience shifts and changes with our plans, decisions and projects as well as how we perceive important relationships and events in our lives.
This is because Mercury rules our thinking, attitudes, communication, information, analysis, planning, decisions and negotiations.
And because Mercury also rules anything to do with data and information and its transmission, “screwy things” seem to occur with computers, software, data, messages, phone calls, cell phones, emails, text messages, cable TV, appointments, meetings, trips and lectures.
I’ve often seen problems and malfunctions suddenly appear with my phone, computer and cable TV, and then mysteriously resolve themselves once Mercury goes direct.
Mercury going direct does not mean everything will suddenly clear up and be back to normal. Nor does it mean everything was supposed to go wrong and be confusing the last three weeks.
There are always many factors to consider in assessing the complete picture including aspects to your personal horoscope that may be far more significant than Mercury being retrograde or direct.
But make no doubt, Mercury direct is important, and again, keep in mind that it is not only about the exact day it goes direct.
