Today’s New York Times Poll found Hillary Clinton’s emails still weighing heavily on her.
“She emerged from the F.B.I. investigation into her email practices as secretary of state a wounded candidate with a large and growing majority of voters saying she cannot be trusted, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
As Mrs. Clinton prepares to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination at the convention in Philadelphia this month, she will confront an electorate in which 67 percent of voters say she is not honest and trustworthy. That number is up five percentage points from a CBS News poll conducted last month, before the F.B.I. released its findings.
Mrs. Clinton’s six-percentage-point lead over the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald J. Trump, in a CBS News poll last month has evaporated. The two candidates are now tied in a general election match up, the new poll indicates, with each receiving the support of 40 percent of voters.”
From The New York Times last week: “FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday that the agency's investigation had found no grounds for criminal charges against Hillary Clinton related to her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state. Comey said that despite sometimes "extremely careless" handling of sensitive information, there was no evidence of "intentional misconduct.
Republicans said Comey's sharp criticism showed Clinton was unfit to be president. Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump said the lack of charges showed the "system is rigged."
Relevant to this newsletter is that when the FBI recommended no charges against Clinton over her emails, the Moon was Void.
You have heard me repeatedly say that if something difficult and challenging occurs in your life during a Void period, it is less likely to become significant.
If the FBI’s announcement had occurred when the Moon was not Void, and more important, if it had occurred during a difficult time in Hillary’s horoscope (which it was not), a different judgment could have been disastrous for her. It could have turned this election into a whole new ball game.
