The Sun is in the middle of Cancer. The Moon entered Libra this morning and enters the next sign Scorpio late Tuesday afternoon.
The Moon squares Pluto at 12:46 PM ET on Monday and then opposes Uranus at 5:30 AM on Tuesday. Both these aspects can create emotionally charged situations for a few hours.
If Cancer and Libra are emphasized in your horoscope or in your relationships, and to a lesser degree if your fourth and seventh houses are active, you have some significant challenges to understand and work through due to the basic differences between these two signs.
Cancer is moodier and more emotionally tied to the past and places and people that are familiar. Libra tends to be more rational and detached.
Cancer is more private, inclined to stay close to what is familiar and secure such as their home and family. Libra is more social, inclined to seek social interactions outside their immediate home and family.
Cancer is more caring, protective and instinctual. Libra more social, objective and intellectually oriented. Cancer looks for relationships with an absorbing focus while Libra wants a space between them.
Cancer acts more on feelings and intuition. Libra balances and weighs everything carefully and logically before coming to a decision.
In your horoscope and in relationships, the emotions and sentimentality of Cancer can confuse the logical thought processes of Libra, and the friendly social needs of Libra can upset Cancer’s needs to protect itself and create secure boundaries.
All these differences between the emotionally-based Cancer and the intellectually-oriented Libra have created many misunderstandings for individuals and couples trying to figure out and resolve basic conflicts between their feelings (Cancer) and thoughts (Libra). It’s not easy trying to hold water (Cancer) and air (Libra) in your hands.
On the plus side, Cancer and Libra are more people oriented and sensitive to the needs of others than most other signs. They prefer harmony and peace in their lives, and are apt to avoid conflict and discord as much as possible.
