Gemini Virgo: Busy Minds

The Sun is two-thirds of the way through Gemini. The Moon entered Virgo this morning where it remains until entering the next sign Libra Sunday evening.

Gemini and Virgo are both ruled by Mercury, the planet related to information, learning and communication. For this reason, both signs are more rational than emotional, and more intellectually inclined than other sign combinations.

The air sign Gemini enjoys playing with ideas without needing a purpose or end result. Its mental restlessness requires stimulating ideas, intellectual challenges, and a variety of people to interact with.

The earth sign Virgo is more the hard-working perfectionist with a talent for details and organizing affairs. It is more practical, conscientious, and focused on end results.

Gemini can be somewhat of a social butterfly and a risk-taker willing to do something once "just for the experience." On the other hand, Virgo is more modest, careful, cautious and discriminating.

The main problem with Gemini and Virgo emphasized in your horoscope or in a relationship is getting involved with too many things at once. The forces can be scattered and the energy depleted with overwork or compulsive busy-ness driven by Mercury.

As soon as a task or project nears completion, more tasks and projects tend to creep up and take the attention away from completing what was already started.

For the most part, however, both signs understand each other well, and can get along and be good friends.

Good careers for this sign combination are any field involving active mental and intellectual skills combining the friendliness and flexibility of Gemini with the practicality and discriminating skills of Virgo.
