With the Sun nearing the middle of Capricorn, and the Moon in Scorpio from Sunday afternoon until early Wednesday morning, we have a Sun Moon combination that is deep and focused. Hopefully this energy will enable you to stay focused on your tasks and goals.

There is nothing light or frivolous about Capricorn and Scorpio. Not social butterflies, and not the most open and transparent when compared to the other sign combinations.

Being so private, they are not easy to get to know. They need time by themselves to process all their personal thoughts and secrets. As a result, their depth is often misunderstood and misconstrued as mysterious and uncommunicative by those not as profound or inwardly oriented.

They are demanding of themselves and others, and there is a need to lighten up. Too many controls and cross checks in their minds and actions. The fire signs (Aries Leo Sagittarius) and air signs (Gemini Libra Aquarius) can help them loosen up and become more open and spontaneous.

This is an extremely capable and ambitious sign combination with many professional skills and possibilities. Both have a logical, scientific and technical bent. They are thorough, discriminating, analytical and precise.

In work and professional settings, Scorpios’ ability to research and probe works well with Capricorns’ organizational and business skills. Scorpio is the detective and researcher. Capricorn the boss and owner.

Both have management and organizing skills and a bent for politics and powerful positions within companies and society at large.

Besides business and politics, Capricorn and Scorpio are also drawn to jobs and careers requiring exact thinking and analysis such:

repairs, problem solving, accounting, bookkeeping, statistics, mathematics, engineering, investigation, research, lab work, pharmacy, medicine, surgery, taxes, insurance, marketing research, investigating, mining, and the sciences such as chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry and pharmacology.
