These types of headlines are more likely with the disruptive aspect in effect this past week and peaking the next few days.
As reported in many of my newsletters over the years, Sun square Uranus increases the chances for surprises, turmoil, volatility, instability and highly-charged situations as well as weather extremes, natural disasters, accidents and violence.
This is making everyone a little more anxious and everything a little more edgy. Whenever Uranus is in a challenging alignment in the sky or in your personal horoscope, expect the unexpected.
People with a challenging Sun Uranus aspect in their horoscope are typically original, intelligent and progressive but also tense, obstinate, contradictory, impatient, excitable and compulsively independent.
This stressful aspect is especially relevant for those born around the fifth of January, April, July and October and those with planets and points around fifteen degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn).
All this does not mean everything will be “fine and dandy” after this aspect ends, but it is more likely to be less disruptive and extreme.
And on the plus side, Sun Uranus aspects bring originality, creativity, innovations, and exciting breakthroughs with our thoughts and actions.
