With forecasters warning of a “potentially crippling winter storm” that could dump more than two feet on the mid-Atlantic region, millions of people along the East Coast are bracing for a weekend of travel disruptions and possible power losses.

Governors and mayors warned residents to stay indoors and off the roads, thousands of air flights have been canceled, Washington DC’s region’s mass transit system is shutting down for the weekend, and daily life in any other area of the country having snowfall will certainly be affected.

A Full Moon (Moon in Leo opposite Sun in Aquarius) is exact at 08:46 PM EST tomorrow evening. By themselves, Full Moons do not cause such disruptions, but they do amplify the effects of such natural disasters.

Also note these two lunar aspects which typically create more chaos and emotional intensity for a few hours before and after their exact times:

Today Moon opposite Uranus peaks at 02:32 PM and Sunday Moon squares Mars peaks at 11:11 AM.
