Scorpio Taurus Full Moon

Ed Kluska’s Astrology & Mindful Living Newsletter

The Sun entered Scorpio last Friday and the Moon entered Taurus early this morning. Also this morning a Full Moon climaxed at 08:05 AM ET when the Moon directly opposed the Sun in Scorpio. Late tomorrow morning the Moon is Void until entering the next sign Gemini early Thursday morning.

As with all the signs opposite in the zodiac, the earth sign Taurus and the water sign Scorpio are quite different by nature.

Taurus is more easygoing, laid back and simple in its ways. Scorpio is probably the most intense, complicated and passionate of the twelve signs.

With Taurus you get what you see. It’s more open, honest and direct. With Scorpio you never know what to expect because it thrives on mystery and complexity.

Taurus is focused on practical efforts and material desires. It seeks possessions and comforts, and can be self-indulgent.

Scorpio is more emotionally based and intimacy driven with a desire for self-mastery and depth of understanding, and can be hard to deal with.

Taurus is self-indulgence. Scorpio is self-control. Taurus is personal pleasures and Scorpio is joint pleasures. Taurus is more focused on the physical. Scorpio is more related to the emotional side of life. Taurus is easier to be around while Scorpio can be intensely confrontational.

Both signs want to be in control. Stubborn, willful and prone to arguments until they get what they want.

Anatomically, Taurus is related the lips, mouth and tongue which includes the sensorial pleasures of eating and kissing. And just as these two signs are opposite in the zodiac, Scorpio is related to the other end: the rectum and sexual organs which includes the sensorial pleasures of sex.

If this earth water combination is emphasized in a personal horoscope or a relationship, you can get mud or flowers. The ease and slowness of Taurus can calm or frustrate intense Scorpio, and the intensity of Scorpio can upset or motivate slow-moving Taurus.

Taurus and Scorpio are heavily related to money and finances. If both signs are emphasized in your horoscope (or if your second and eighth houses are emphasized in your horoscope), you are more likely to be interested in or involved with financial matters.

Taurus and your second house represent self-earned money, your personal possessions and financial status. What you have under your pillow and in your jewelry box, and what you can go up to your bank and withdrawal right now.

Professionally, Taurus is: the banker, financier, treasurer, cashier, bank teller, accountant, and economist.

Scorpio and your eighth house is also related to financial matters but it’s more about shared or co-mingled resources such as: debt, loans, payments, buyouts, settlements, wills, inheritances, banks, mortgages, bankruptcies, alimony, taxes, insurance, unemployment benefits, and entitlements such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

Professionally, Scorpio is: accounting and bookkeeping, banking, credit cards, taxes, insurance, the stock market, brokerage firms, collection agencies, investment companies, conglomerates, holding companies and money funds.
