A Challenging Aspect Is Here
There are several favorable aspects in the sky this week, but a significantly challenging aspect stands out. It has been building for the past week and peaks on Friday when Mars and Saturn square each other.
Last week last Saturn entered the mutable sign Sagittarius where it remains for the next two years. This will stabilize the fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) and test the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
Thursday Mars enters the mutable sign Virgo where it will remain until November 13. This will boost the earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) and at times stress the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
Mars Saturn aspects are good for hard work, focused efforts, determination, persistence and endurance, but they do create challenges because Mars and Saturn are stress-related planets.
Matters are intensified. Controversies and issues are brought into focus. Tensions can run high and people can feel frustrated. Fears, delays, disputes, bitterness, uncertainties, and heightened differences are more likely.
And with Mars in Virgo and Saturn in Sagittarius, issues will more likely be Sagittarius related matters such as religions, principles and the media. A good example is the Pope’s visit to United States, and the current controversy about Muslims and our Presidency.
Mars Saturn aspects can also bring extremes with the weather and financial markets as well as increased violence, crime, disasters, and military conflicts. Don’t expect peace and calm around the world.
Extra care and diplomacy are advised. Avoid situations that can lead to disputes. Be careful with travel and dangerous situations.
This does not mean everything is “bad” and will not work out right now, and that everything will be “better” after this is over.
But it is more appropriate to be cautious and patient than aggressive and demanding. Stay focused and catch up with what is already in front of you.
This is not an ideal time for starting anything new or significant such as marriage, project or business. It is less likely to work out. For major decisions and fresh starts, wait for a better time period.
For most of us (depending on your own horoscope and personal cycles), nothing special will happen. But this challenging aspect is especially relevant for those with their Sun, Moon, planets and points around one degree of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
