Virgo Capricorn: Working Efficiency

With the Moon entering career-oriented Capricorn this morning, and the Sun still in task-oriented Virgo, we have an alignment of purpose and direction with the Sun and Moon both in earth signs. Today and tomorrow are better than normal for “getting things organized and getting things done.”

In astrology there are four elements: fire, earth, air and water. The element(s) emphasized in your horoscope is a foremost factor to consider in analyzing a horoscope. It tells a lot about your basic needs and approach to life.

People with an earth emphasis (Taurus Virgo Capricorn) are typically more methodical, efficient and productive. Their hands-on and common sense approach to life can be helpful in many practical ways.

Virgo and Capricorn both have a logical, scientific and technical bent. They are also more perfectionistic and demanding of themselves and others than the other signs.

Virgo is related to retail and service businesses including repairs, problem solving and computer work. Capricorn is related to the owner, administrator, manager, executive and bureaucrat.

Virgo is employees and unions. Capricorn is bosses and big business. Virgo is the worker who implements what has to be done, and Capricorn is ambitions and organizational skills.

So Virgo Capricorn is the essence of the everyday life and success of any business or corporation. Virgo represents the skills and duties to supports such efforts, and Capricorn represents the organizer and taskmaster.

But too much earth and too much work can make one dry and boring. There’s a need to lighten up and enjoy life as well. The pragmatism and work ethic of Virgo and Capricorn can damper the excitement and enthusiasm of their lives and those around them. Both signs unconsciously want more fun, lightness, and spontaneity which the fire (Aries Leo Sagittarius) and air (Gemini Libra Aquarius) signs can provide.
