Here Comes Bernie
Ed Kluska’s Astrology & Mindful Living Newsletter: Here Comes Bernie
It’s the summer of discontent with politics. Many people are dissatisfied with the hypocrisy and gridlock in Washington. They want change no matter which way it comes.
“Along comes Bernie Sanders, sounding a progressive version of the Tea Party outcry, and suddenly voters long fed up with what they see as the greed of corporate America and a government that caters to the rich are thinking the time is right for — dare they say it? — some socialist-leaning policies.”--The Des Moines Register
Bernie Sanders (born September 8, 1941, Brooklyn Heights, New York, birth time unknown) is a Virgo with Moon in Aries.
Being a Virgo lends him to offer more focused and specific solutions to societal and government issues as opposed to Donald Trump, for example, who is more about grand and sweeping statements with his Gemini Leo Sagittarius emphasis.
When people asked me about him at an astrology lecture this July, I said he should be a factor in the coming election, and his influence should increase after Jupiter enters his birth sign Virgo on August 11.
Recall my August 11, 2015 “Big Jupiter News” newsletter. It explained that wherever Jupiter is positioned in your horoscope, you naturally experience growth, advantages, fortune and prosperity over the course of your lifetime.
And as Jupiter moves around your horoscope, it typically brings good things to whatever points and angles it aspects in your horoscope.
Over the years, I have found that when Jupiter is in one’s sun sign by transit, at least one very good thing seems to happen during the course of that year.
After spending the past year in Leo, Jupiter will now spend the next year in Virgo until September 09, 2016 when it enters the next sign Libra.
So Jupiter in Virgo once every 12 years brings Bernie Sanders opportunities and success boosts for this coming year. And so does a favorable aspect from Uranus to his Jupiter which occurs for all of us once every 14 years, and typically brings lucky and fortuitous shifts and changes.
Overall, it is certainly a better time than normal for him to stick his neck out and go for it. On the other hand, he faces some adverse aspects over the coming year as we all do over the course of a year.
Around September 22, Saturn is opposite is Uranus which can bring stress, losses and setbacks. And around February 22, April 26 and November 12, Saturn is square his Sun which can bring losses, disappointments and diminishing influence.
All of this is by no means a complete analysis of his horoscope or his future for the year ahead.
Also keep in mind that the purpose of these politically-related newsletters is not to judge character, promote a candidate, or make political predictions. Its intent is to provide you with examples of how astrology works.
