Virgo Aquarius: Computer Minds
~Ed Kluska’s Astrology & Mindful Living Newsletter August 27, 2015: Virgo Aquarius: Computer Minds The Moon entered Aquarius early this morning which gives us a Virgo Aquarius Sun-Moon combination until Saturday morning when the Moon enters the next sign Pisces leading to a Virgo Pisces Full Moon on Saturday afternoon. Virgo and Aquarius is a bright, critical and exacting sign combination with tremendous mental potentials. Aquarius rules inventions, sudden insights and scientific breakthroughs while Virgo brings a logical and step-by-step approach. Aquarius provides freshness and creativity while Virgo offers order and discipline. Many clients with a Virgo Aquarius emphasis in their horoscopes are involved with computers, technology, electronics, science and engineering, for example. All these favorable qualities make for sharp intellects and logical minds, but there can be a cost. Virgo earth and Aquarius air makes for dust and parched earth. A person or relationship can become too cerebral, distant and dry as it is for Virgos and Capricorns described in my last newsletter. There’s too much living in one’s head and not enough feelings from the body and love from the heart. Neither sign is comfortable in the gooey world of emotions especially if there is little water or other emotional factors in a horoscope. So the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) can create more feelings and loosen up the dryness. And the lively spice of the fire signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) can create more spontaneity and passion. There are also important differences between Virgo and Aquarius. Virgo loves order while Aquarius can take pleasure in disrupting order so something new and different can unfold. Aquarius wants to change the world or start a cause while Virgo is inclined more toward personal change and self-improvement. Virgo is careful and conservative. It feels more comfortable and safe following a secure, tried-and-true path. On the other hand, Aquarius has a rebellious tendency toward authority and is rather indifferent to convention and tradition. It needs to experiment and shake things up once in a while. Virgo’s criticalness and fear of making mistakes can damper Aquarius's need for experimentation and flirtation with novelty and the latest fads. Virgo is about work and everyday duties. Aquarius is more about humanity and a worldwide perspective. Virgo is about the faults and flaws right in front of them. Aquarius is the idealist thriving on change and social prgress. Virgo is can be quite sensible while Aquarius can be rebellious. Virgo wants physical and tangible results while Aquarius seeks new opinions and options. Virgo is more pragmatic with its love of order and tidiness. Aquarius is related to breaking away from old molds and barriers.
