Gemini Taurus Differences
First a reminder that my Theta Heart Meditation Gathering is this Sunday from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at my home in Clifton. Attendees often have a profound experience and gain a renewed perspective on life. Contact me for full details. The Moon entered Taurus this morning so we have a Gemini Taurus Sun Moon combination until Sunday afternoon when the Moon enters the next sign Gemini to then form a new Moon in Gemini Tuesday morning. The major difference between the earth sign Taurus and the air sign Gemini is that Gemini needs a lot of mental stimulation and enjoys change and movement, while Taurus is much more deliberate and slow to move and change. Taurus is uncomfortable when asked to make frequent adjustments to their routine or home environment, while Gemini is likely to feel restless or stifled if things stay the same for too long. Taurus is stable, grounded and steady which Gemini can feel both drawn to and impatient with. The stubbornness and slowness of Taurus to embrace new experiences can be trying for Gemini. Taurus is also more sensual and instinctive than Gemini who is more intellectual and fluent with language. Taurus's emotional steadiness and nurturing qualities are appreciated by Gemini. Taurus is intrigued by Gemini's wit, mental agility and intelligence, but is sometimes annoyed by their inability to make a commitment or follow through with intentions. Gemini likes to talk and can jump rapidly from one topic to the next. Taurus, on the other hand, likes to methodically digest one topic at a time. When faced with an important decision, Gemini would benefit by taking a quiet walk in the woods or along the beach, while Taurus needs to simply talk with someone. Both signs are more friendly and agreeable than other sign combinations, but each must learn to adjust to and respect the other's needs or they will get in the other's way. The down to earth practicality of Taurus can temper and stabilize the flightiness of Gemini, and Gemini’s flexibility and need to explore new ideas and ventures can help Taurus loosen their set habits and lifestyles. Good careers for this sign combination are any field combining the practicality, steadiness and artistic strengths of Taurus with the intellectual, communication and educational skills of Gemini.
